海畔生活日历 organized for the seniors in North San Diego County and sponsored by The MiraCosta 大学基金会. 18岁及以上人士均可观看. Most members are retired seniors meets on most Friday afternoons from 1-3:30 p.m. Meetings offer discussion groups 以及演讲嘉宾. Field trips, lunches, and other activities may occur at other times members have use of the college.

圣伊莱霍生活 is organized for residents of San Diego County and is free and open 致所有市民. The group meets during the academic school year (September through May) on the third Friday of the month from 1-2:30 p.m. (讲座)和1-3:00 p.m. (films) at the 圣Elijo Campus at 曼彻斯特大道3333号, 卡迪夫，CA 92007 在200楼204室.

Friday, October 20, 2023, 1-2:30 p.m. Lecture: 圣Elijo Lagoon Restoration: A 35-Year 复兴湿地的愿景. Nature Collective’s Executive Director and Principal Scientist Doug Gibson will share the many successes of the newly restored 圣Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve, including how Nature Collective, an Encinitas-based nonprofit, obtained funding for this visionary project; how the lagoon’s healthier tidal channels are creating habitat for new species as sea levels rise; how more people are connecting via new trails; the impact on the coastal region, and the vision for the “Strawberry Fields,” soon to be Fields of the 未来.
